The Manitoba government has declared November 2023 as Financial Literacy Month, in recognition of the importance of on-going education for Manitoba's K-12 students about consumer awareness and financial literacy.
GVSD supports the introduction of financial concepts to young people as essential in developing confident and responsible youth. Introducing financial concepts to young people lays the foundation of economic awareness. Students will have opportunities to learn how financial and economic matters relate to their career choices and personal lives.
